8. light that caught you, a reflection that surprised you, a shadow that fell lovely
Light that caught me: While working at Target yesterday (as I'm writing this on the 9th), I was at checklane 6, the checklane closest to the doors...and right around 4pm, the sun began to set, which makes checklane 6 super bright with the sun. The light caught my breath, and just made me so grateful to have a chance to stand in the light.
A reflection that surprised me: While babysitting the kiddos with Robyn and Danny, I was surprised by how much of my life was similar to Robyn's. It was nice to talk with Robyn about our family stories and seeing how much we have in common and how much God has been doing in us in the area of forgiving and getting to know our fathers.
A shadow that fell lovely: The shadow of my friend Mariah's car. It was nice to hang out with her after Target, and just grab a cup of coffee. Nice to catch up on how seasonal positions are going, ask the greater questions of life, and learn more about Terra Nova.
