Remember.

Certain images or words will trigger memories of certain people.

The song Amazing Grace, always reminds me of my friend Evelyn. Whenever I hear it, I think of her standing next to me, singing alongside me.

Tacos remind me of my mom. I remember all of our King Taco runs and how we pulverized a sizable batch (read: 17 tacos) on a whim one day.

Dog tags remind me of Bubba. A friend who passed away 3 years ago in a tragic car accident, he served in the US Navy. The boy who'd hug me when he saw me in the hall walking to my second class of the day, who'd make faces at me during History. He had a great smile. :)

I am grateful to remember.
